MACPO Grants
Awarded for Eyescan Machines MACPO has received a $100,000 Federal COPS Grant Award for the purchase of Eyescan Drug Testing Equipment. MACPO
has awarded 10 eyescan machines with laptops.
All 10 eyescan machines were given out to the 12 counties which
include: Brown/Watonwan, Rice, Beltrami, Cass, Otter Tail,
Sherburne, Martin, Pine, Waseca/Steele, and Wabasha in November of
2004.
Our first gathering of statistics will occur in July 2005 with
the results to be posted in August of 2005.
A big thanks to all of our US Congressmen who approved funding for
this technology! This includes Senator's Dayton, Coleman and
Representatives Gutknecht, Kline, Ramstad, McCollum, Sabo, Kennedy,
