MACPO Advertising Policy

MACPO now has over 60 vendors who advertise on our website at: http://www.macpo.org/vendors.php. It is starting to become common practice for probation staff to go to the vendor website to locate agency information versus going to a file cabinet to obtain brochures or admission packets. We receive around 1,000 hits per month on our website from probation and correctional officers! In the fast paced world of probation and younger and more computer knowledgeable staff, access to phone numbers, addresses and contact information for vendors is now just a few mouse clicks away.

The vendor website is broken down into categories such as group homes, chemical dependency, residential, electronic monitoring, etc. This allows probation agents/correctional officers to quickly locate information. By advertising on this site, you can reduce your costs for brochures and agency packets. Many vendors are linking their websites and adding admission forms and educational information about their programs/facilities, making it very user friendly for probation/correctional officers to utilize.

To advertise on this website, the cost is $120 a year or just $10 per month. We pro-rate on a calendar year so you can join the website at any time. Also, your agency can place employment ads on this website for FREE. For more information go to http://www.macpo.org/openings.php. You cannot find this type of advertisement anywhere else for this kind of price.

Employment and Vendor Advertisements must be submitted to MACPO's Communication Co-Chair listed below. They will prepare a billing statement for your agency. The information will then be formatted by our webmaster and posted to the "EMPLOYMENT" and/or "VENDOR" button on our website. The employment ads will run until the posting deadline. The Vendor advertisement will run for one year from the date it was posted.
